Eat healthily and exercise. It’s such a simple concept isn’t it? Then why is it so bloody hard?
I hope that you’re all sitting down for this one! I have joined the gym. I know, I know… who am I????
To be honest, I don’t know why it has taken me this long to do something of this sort. It’s no secret that I’m packing a ‘FEW’ extra pounds. It’s never really bothered me before but after Beth started the Healthy Selves campaign back in June, I decided to give myself a kick up the arse. Up until now I’ve been a bit hit and miss with it, well not anymore! I have every intention for this to be the point of change. I am changing my lifestyle, not just what I eat. Can I promise that I will stick to it every second of every day? No, probably not. I know that if I restrict myself from treats every now and then, I won’t stick to it. For example, I’m off to London this weekend and I’m sure we’ll be indulging in some yummy food and cocktails.
Part of this journey will be me updating you guys. Don’t worry you won’t be seeing pictures of me in my pants saying ‘oooh look, I’ve lost an inch off my right thigh’, no one wants to see that! I actually really enjoy healthy food, so expect to see some recipes popping up here and there.
