I've been getting lazy recently with painting my nails, which is so not like me! What could reignite my polish passion better than a bit of glitter ay? This has got to be my new favourite combination, I think it's so feminine and pretty. The base colour is Nails Inc bruton street, but the star of the show is the Zoya PixieDust in the shade Ginni*. It's from their Spring/Summer collection. I find that glitter can sometimes look a little OTT, but this is just perfection. It's a mixture of small and big pink glitter particles, it also has a touch of silver which gives it that little something extra. Most glitter polishes usually take about three coats to get the desired effect, but this is one coat! I am so impressed. I have been a fan of Zoya nail polishes since day dot and this did not disappoint.

Hi guys, I hope you're having a good weekend. Who doesn't love a good bank holiday? :)
I've spent my Sunday cooking dinner at my sister's house for some of my family. I've only just sat down! When I wasn't cooking I was chasing after my oldest nephew Ethan or feeding my baby nephew Ollie, the bloomin' cuties! I randomly woke up this morning craving a bold lip, I know right, call me crazy. The weather has unfortunately took a turn for the worst, so I felt just injecting a bit of summer into my makeup instead. I am obsessed with this lipstick at the moment, it's so pigmented and long-lasting. It's true love! I'm definitely going to be experimenting with the other shades.

Today I bring you a collab with Megan from http://www.student-stylexo.co.uk/. She is one of my fave blogger gals, so make sure you check out her blog. We decided to to the Lip Product Addict Tag, I was born with a lipstick in my hand so this tag was made for me! So let's get down to it.
1. Favourite balm/treatment?
It is definitely the Nuxe Reve de Miel. It's incredibly thick and luxurious. I use it mainly in the evening as I prefer something a little lighter during the day.
2. Best eye-catching red?
It has to be Mac Lady Danger. I picked this up in Spring last year and it didn't leave my lips all Summer! It's the perfect orange toned red.
3. Best luxury & best drugstore?
My favourite luxury lipstick is my Tom Ford True Coral, not only is it a beautiful colour, it was a birthday gift from my lovely friend Jazz. My favourite drugstore lipstick would be the Revlon Matte balm in Showy. It looks a little bit washed out in the picture below, but it's incredibly vidid.
4. Best Mac lipstick?
My two most used shades are Creme Cup and Plumful. Both are lovely everyday shades.
5. Most disappointing?
I am devastated to say that I was really disappointed by a Hourglass Opaque Rouge in Riviera. First of all, I can't stand the formula! I love a matte finish as much as the next girl, but it is so drying and just ends up looking cakey on my lips. Also the colour looks so strange on me, what the hell was I thinking? It's probably better for a darker skin tone. Finally the price! At £23 I expect brilliance and unfortunately this just doesn't cut it.
6. Liner- yes or no?
I only tend to use lipliner if I'm wearing a red lipstick, purely because I find that it looks a bit neater when I apply it. My favourite is the No7 lipliner in Fire. It's quite a neutral red so I find that I can wear it with any of my red lipsticks. I also ocassionally use Rimmel lipliner in Eastend Snob. This matches my natural lip colour so well. Am I the only one who thinks that their lip shape changes? Sometimes they're quite defined and others I feel like a weird lip-less creature. So yeah, I like lipliner.
7. Best gloss?
Easiest question of the bunch! I'm not a gloss kinda gal, lipstick all the way. However, when I tried the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector (longest name ever!) it was love at first swipe! The colour is really natural and pretty. It also helps that the smell is divine, it smells like candy floss YUM. This is shade number 5, but I recommend all of them.
8. Something extra!
This is my go-to night out lip. Mac Russian Red, I bow down to you. It's just perfection in my eyes. BUY IT!!! That's all I have to say really.

I am currently on my my lunch break from my first aid course, so I thought I'd take the time to have a quick chat with you. Last night I reached 100 Bloglovin followers. It might not be much to some, but to me it's massive. I was flicking through Bloglovin last night and noticed that I had 82 followers, I thought to myself that it would be nice to hit 100 by my birthday which is July 27th. So I did what I usually do and put my thoughts on Twitter. Then all of a sudden, the incredible Char started tweeting my link, retweeting my tweet, tweeting other people. The woman was determined (possessed). Then the rest if you got involved! I had notifications coming out of my ears. It was a little bit overwhelming to tell the truth, I knew that you were all incredibly nice but it shocked me. So I'm not going to be overly mushy but there's only so much that you can put in a 140 character tweet. I reached 100 within an hour of sending my original tweet, it was crazy! I have linked a few of the beauties below that I have to thank, sorry if I've missed you out. Thank you to all that retweeted as well, too many to list but I love you all the same :)

Happy Sunday evening all. Dreading going to work in the morning? Yep, me too. However, I am comforted by the idea of being able to wear my new lipstick to work tomorrow, I've got issues!
Here are a few makeup bits that I've picked up over the last week. I made a Selfridges order specifically to get my hands on a couple of items from the Mac Alluring Aquatic collection. I'm not usually a limited edition kinda gal, but this one caught my eye. I picked the extra dimension blush in Sea Me, Hear Me and the lipstick in Mystical. It was love at first sight! I am so impressed with the blush especially, it's such a pretty shade. I will definitely be getting my use out of that beauty. Whist we're talking about blush, I also picked up the Topshop cream blush in Flush. It looks a bit scary in the pan, but I'm looking forward to putting it to the test. Oh my what's this, another lipstick? I get a bit overwhelmed when perusing the Urban Decay counter, everything is just so damn colourful! I decided that I don't have enough pinky nude lipsticks (who am I tying to kid), so I picked up the Urban Decay lipstick in Naked. I haven't really heard much about them, but I was drawn to it. The heart wants what the heart wants. Finally I have a repurchase, the No7 Stay Perfect mascara. I use this strictly on my bottom lashes, this is magic in a tube, it never smudges- NEVER!

I'm not one to do a monthly favourites, sometimes I stick to the same things for months so I don't want to be repeating myself. So today I bring you my current favourites.
Megan from http://www.student-stylexo.co.uk/ . I am loving her reviews at the moment and her incredible photography.
First up is my base of choice at the moment, the Benefit Big Easy. It is a very light yet buildable foundation. I like the fact that I can see my freckles and blemishes through it, sometimes I don't feel like caking it on and creating a 2 inch mask on my face, call me crazy! I was worried at first as I have combination to oily skin, but it has a velvety finish which looks so natural on the skin. I am so happy that I picked it up.
My concealer of choice has been the Soap & Glory Kick Ass, only the salmony pink shade mind you. I love it for under my eyes, it cancels out my dark circles incredibly without being a thick consistency. I don't really like the other shade because it's a bit too yellow toned for my skin. It also comes with a translucent powder which is also worth a mention, it's very fine and perfect for taking away shine.
Next is the ByTerry Growth Booster mascara. My friend Hayley bought me this for Christmas. I have been using it since then and it's truly love! It gives great length and volume to the lashes. The thing I love most about it is that it never looks clumpy, no matter how many coats I do. I will definitely be repurchasing it when it runs out, even if it is bloomin' pricey!
Here is another Benefit product, it's the Dallas box powder. I'm a little late to the party on this one, I bought it in March. I am obsessed with it. It's perfect to pair with a bright lip or a more intense eye look. I find that it looks a bit different on everyone, on me it's a lovely rosy toned bronze shade. Love love love.
Finally we have the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in shade 05. This is my favourite lipgloss ever! It's non-sticky, a gorgeous shade and tastes incredible! Oh my god, does it taste good. I know what you're thing, it tastes good? Trust me.
Now onto a few non-beauty favourites.
The past 6 weeks of my life has been completely dedicated to watching Gossip Girl series 1-6. It's been a great period of my life. Long, but great. The amount of dreams I've had about being Blair Waldorf is actually quite worrying. I'm ashamed to admit that I cried during the last episode. A battling rollercoaster love story that lasts for 4 series like Blair and Chuck pulls at my heart strings, what can I say?
If you're a regular reader then you'll know that I'm quite a keen baker. Love me some cake. I picked up this magazine from Sainsburys and it's incredible. Some cooking/baking magazines are full of adverts but this one is jam-packed with recipes. My favourite one I have tried so far is white chocolate eclairs, they were beautiful.
Favourite YouTube channel is Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup. Her videos are so genuine and informative. I can't get enough of them, i could watch them back to back. She is also incredibly lovely and beautiful too. Check her out at http://m.youtube.com/user/ViviannaDoesMakeup .
Hayley from http://www.teapartybeauty.com/ . This girl has me in stitches. Her dating series was hilarious. She has great reviews and hauls. She is also the lady responsible for the layout on my blog, talented lady right here ladies and gents.
Char from http://www.surelychar.co.uk/ . Now first of all, if you've not read Char's blog before then hide your bank card now! She makes me want everything! We are major product twinsies, our taste is very similar.
I hope that you check these lovely ladies out!
Hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday. Mine was spent feeling a little bit worse for wear, silly cocktails!
I met my friend for dinner and in a bid to make myself look a little less like a zombie, I whacked out the big guns. Outcomes the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I was in a bit of a rush, so it is a very simple and easy look to do. I kept the base quite light and the eyes matte, I loved how it turned out.

Urban Decay primer potion in Eden
Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (limit all over the lid and Nooner in the crease)

Good evening lovelies. Are you tucked up in bed with a cup of Earl Grey watching bad but good films on Netfilx? No? Just me then. I've just watched 'view from the top', which was an all time low but also all time high, gotta love Gwenyth Paltrow in a PVC flight attendant uniform, stay classy kids!
Anyway, random boredom rant over with.
I introduced a new addition to my skincare routine a couple of months ago and I couldn't be more happy with the results. It's the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer. This soothes my irritated skin like no other, it reduces redness, improves skin texture, boots radiance, basically it does everything! I really like Liz Earle as a brand, I find their products quite light and simple, which is sometimes just the ticket. I apply it every evening after cleansing, either directly onto my face or using a cotton pad. I didn't think that my routine was missing anything before, but now I wouldn't be without this little gem. I couldn't recommend it more.

It's hardly a big stash, but I thought it might be of interest to some of you. My work friends constantly wonder over to ask how I am and comment on the weather, when really I know they are just there to steal a cheeky spritz!
So let's start with the perfume from left to right. First up is the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanilla. If you like vanilla scents then this is definitely the one for you, it's incredible. It's so intense and musky without being over powering. Next up is Jo Malone Wild Bluebell cologne. This is my favourite spring/summer scent, it's so fresh and floral. Some floral scents smell a bit artificial to me but Jo Malone can do no wrong in my eyes, this is perfection. I'm so tempted to pick up the full size. Next to that is Armani Diamonds which is definitely a crowd. Not my favourite but I do get a craving for it every now and then, so I like to keep it at arms length. Finally on the far right is Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. This is without a doubt my most used fragrance, it's so addictive! My friend Hayley introduced me to this, I owe her big time. This one is definitely going to be forever repurchased.
Then I have a couple of hand creams. I have the Laura Mercier creme brûlée and Soap & Glory Hand Food. The Laura Mercier smells divine, almost edible! It's very rich so it's perfect for the colder months when your hands need a bit more TLC. The Soap & Glory is a good everyday cream, it's non-sticky and soaks in super quick. Very Handy if you pardon the pun! ;)
'Where is the makeup?' you might ask, I keep all of that in a makeup bag in my handbag. Don't worry I've not changed.
